What began as one mans dream to shape a cigar worthy of his name is today a house led by David Ortiz, who carries the family vision forward with an absolute commitment to quality.

The Dominican Republic is today the worlds largest producer of premium handmade cigars. In the heart of the Cibao valley, between Santiago and Villa Gonzalez, soil and climate gave rise to a tobacco tradition passed down through generations.
Americo Cigars is born of that heritage: hand-selected leaves, curing times that are never rushed, and the skill of rollers who see the cigar as both craft and art.
